An Ordinary Day

today began just like another ordinary day

in an ordinary way 

 

watched you hurried by

looked so shy

Instigate a night beneath the stars

follow the last sunrays



encounter the moon

the fickle moon, the inconstant moon, that monthly changes in her circle orb

sink into the ... grass ... sand ... earth

or,  opiate fields

 just like the stars upon your ceiling that

put you to sleep after...

Midnight in a perfect world

it began with a trip in the clouds

mad yellow nights  

& retro chill out

dnb vibes in middle of nowhere

and broken ones

night long birthdays 



 followed by a sunset in the mountains

and bruises on the beach

lost in a mud paradise and rain

& toma tu cafe con caña

searching for a drink and broken cars 

with nocturnal species

watch the world upside down

and touch

it'll take a moment ... but i'll be back

 

Do you ever...

miss the simple things in life, which also happen to be the most fascinating

just a peak through the branches

gazing at the clouds

listen to the church bells ...

for a moment you know the clock had stopped

so for the first time in a while ...

you take time to watch the people passing by ...

wondering where they came from ... or where they're headed to

simply never forget about the small details in life



Sunday mornings

with a berry red cup of tea ...

memories ...

and water reflecting photons
